About us

We are a family run business of 35 years, situated in stunning countryside, and fully approved professional riding centre, set in the rolling countryside of central Scotland, just a 10 minute stroll from the market town of Lanark, Lanarkshire.

We have holiday guests from all over the world coming for our Children and Adult Holidays, specialising in unaccompanied children.

Awarded 5 stars from visit Scotland. As well as the riding centre we are a BHS training and exam centre.

We also offer a 5 star livery service situated on the UKs oldest racecourse.

Our professional team are here to provide a variety of lessons for all ages and abilities.

BHS Certified

Lessons at Scottish Equestrian Centre are delivered by our team of qualified instructors. We teach all levels, beginners to expert and we teach all ages, from children to older riders. You are never to old to learn how to
ride a horse.

We teach all disciplines in the course of our riding lessons.

Lessons start at age 5 but we have midweek sessions for the youngest aged 3 – 5 on a one to one basis.
