Lara Haggerty, Keeper of Books at Scotland’s first lending library, will share some quotes, pictures and stories about the horse from a selection of books in the Innerpeffray collection. Learn about ‘leachcraft and chirugical’ in a 16th century medical book for horses, myths and legends and some ‘rules for bad horsemen’ as published in the 18th century.
Cost: £5. Proceeds will be split 50/50 between British Horse Society and Innerpeffray Library.
