New BRC Winter Dressage Championships for 2025, includes classes from the previously named BRC Introductory, Novice, Intermediate, DTM Championships & Quadrille.
The following non-music classes & Quadrille are kindly sponsored by:
Senior Introductory Winter Dressage: for teams of 4 riders and individuals. Two team riders will ride different intro tests and the other two team members will ride different prelim tests.
Senior Novice Winter Dressage: for teams of 4 riders and individuals. One team member will ride an intro test, two team members will ride different prelim tests and one team member will ride a Novice test.
Junior Introductory Winter Dressage: for teams of 4 riders and individuals. Two team riders will ride different intro tests and the other two team members will ride different prelim tests.
Junior Novice Winter Dressage: for teams of 4 riders and individuals. One team member will ride an intro test, two team members will ride different prelim tests and one team member will ride a Novice test.
Mixed Intermediate Winter Dressage: this is a mixed class open to senior and junior teams and individuals, teams may be any combination of senior and/or junior, with 3 scores to count and for individuals. One team member will ride a prelim test, two team members will ride different novice tests and one team member will ride an elementary test.
Pick a Test Dressage: for individuals, open to seniors and juniors competing at either medium or advanced Medium. Competitors may compete in both medium and advanced medium sections. This class will be judged as one at the qualifier but may be split at the Championships if entries are sufficient.
Mixed Intro Pairs: for a pair of riders, seniors and/or juniors to ride a test together.
Quadrille
If you enjoy competing in dressage, why not try quadrille? The display is set to music with a team of four riders wearing themed costumes. The display should demonstrate horsemanship, but doesn’t necessarily have to be based on dressage movements.
Entries for the Quadrille will open on 1 December 2024 and close 2 February 2025 or earlier if entries are full. Please enter via the BHS Pre-Entry site - Quadrille only
Dressage to Music Section
The DTM section offers classes for both senior and junior members allowing competitors to ride from prelim up to Advanced Medium. This is a great opportunity to be creative and have fun in the dressage arena.

Stabling will be available to book via https://brc.bhs.org.uk/select once championship invites start being sent out.
Please note booking closes 21 days before the start of the competition.
